Abstract
In this paper, we describe a new color-assisted vision system based on time sharing for individuals with color-vision deficiency, commonly referred to as color blindness. Most existing systems apply a nonlinear color conversion algorithm that may not relate to natural colors. Our proposed system may help colorblind individuals clearly perceive the difference in colors. For consistent evaluation and repeatability of experiments, wearing simulation eyeglasses is assumed to be the same as having color blindness. The effectiveness of the proposed method is evaluated by applying the SD method.
