Abstract
This paper proposes FSC and FFSC methods in which the jerk continuity is satisfied at the final time only. Since the method does not impose the jerk continuity at the initial time, a settling performance can be improved without a significant increase of the maximum absolute value of control input. The effectiveness of the proposed method is evaluated by simulations by comparing with the conventional method.
