Abstract
Excessive visceral fat is a main cause of life-style related diseases such as diabetes. If a simple measurement of visceral fat distribution in vivo is realized, it will greatly help as to prevent ourselves from these diseases. In this paper, we used an electric impedance tomography (EIT) method. It has some advantages that it only requires simple equipment and is safer compared to other methods. We will show some basic results of numeric and phantom experiments using three dimensional EIT.
