Abstract :
A lot of indoor measurement methods that can be used in the indoor space where the GPS system cannot be used are proposed. However, there methods have a lot of issue at the view point of the cost and the positional estimation accuracy. Additionally, there methods cannot take a direction which is important information for the location depend service providing. To deal with these issue, we propose a method for improving the positional estimation accuracy and taking a direction of terminal by using a camera built into a cellular phone. Estimated position of terminal is obtained by two dimensional markers with picture processing and wireless radio strength (RSSI). As a result of experiments, it was clarified to be able to achieve estimation accuracy that was higher than the positional estimation method that individually used an existing camera and the wireless radio strength.
