Abstract :
In many of applications, the finite time stabilization is very important. However, most of control schemes proposed so far have been focused on the verification of asymptotic stability. Recently, terminal sliding mode control systems have been studied to guarantee that the error gets to zero in a finite time. The terminal sliding surface proposed so far used a power function whose exponent is a rational number with an odd number over an odd number. Thus, in this paper, we propose a novel terminal sliding surface using power function whose exponent can be a rational numbers between 0 to 1.
