Applying data warehouse concept and statistical methods, It gained the rules of variation of brightness temperature along with time evolution and spatial distribution through studying on the brightness temperature of Yutian, Xinjiang monitoring area data from 2006 to 2008. It presents case study on the earthquake in Yutian, Xinjiang, the result showed that the brightness temperature value at the Kangxiwa fault nearly the epicenter began to increase 35 days before the event. It became much higher than the surroundings eight days prior to the shock, and reached maximum 263.36 K, 7 days before the event. 4 hours before the seismic occurrence, it tended to decline, and after the earthquake, it continued to drop by about 4 K. The average value of 2008 is 1.1-6.84 K higher than 2006 and 3.8-14.2 K higher than 2007 in the same period 25 days prior to the shock.
