Abstract :
Recent studies have advocated different organizational capabilities and discussed their impact on a firm´s competitive performance. In this research paper, a new framework for Innovative capabilities has been identified and method to measure Innovativeness is proposed. Innovativeness of the firm is directly related to the firm´s R&D and can be measured through various indicators such as knowledge capabilities, Innovation conversion, R&D Infrastructure, R&D Capabilities, marketing capabilities and manufacturing capabilities etc. In this paper, An AHP based method is proposed to measure the innovativeness of an organization.
