Abstract :
Nowadays, the OPC technology attracts attention as one solution to answer users\´ diverse needs on the site of measurement and control systems. OPC provides users a standard interface in multi-vender environments. As a result, users can configure a manufacturing system that is more flexible than existing one with extendibility. High speed and the lower price in addition to users\´ requirement for real-time and high reliability are requested on controller network where each system is configured. Therefore "Industrial Ethernet" is widely widespread today on controller network. In this paper, we introduce TC-net 100 OPC Server corresponding to OPC technology and International Standard "TCnet", that is one of "Real-Time Ethernet (RTE)", which has the common memory and the scanning transmission technology at the controller network system.
