  • Abstract
The aim of this paper is to support the construction of an efficient Health Monitoring System for ensuring the safety, using-life of bridges, preventing from the collapse affairs, protecting peoples´ living environment, and reducing unnecessary finance expenses. This paper presents an effective method for application on vibration signal analysis in Bridge Health Monitoring System. The vibration signals are collected through wireless sensor network. The vibration signals are very important in Bridge Health Monitoring System, because the variation of bridge vibration frequency indicates the changing of bridge structure state. Independent Component Analysis (ICA) theory, Band Pass Filter (BPF) Technique and spectral analysis are applied in this paper to analyze the monitoring data of bridge vibration signals in the bridge health monitoring system, and through denoising to enable classification and feature extraction from the vibration signals. Meanwhile, comparing with conventional methods, the proposed method can obtain better results to analyze the vibration signals of bridge structure health monitoring.
