The application of the Diigo-based collaborative learning model in the course “Fundamentals of Computers”

More and more attentions have been focus on collaborative learning in recent year, and Diigo, a “social annotation” website, which combines social bookmarking, extract, annotate, tag, and full-text search function, is seen as an effective tools to foster collaborative learning. This paper analyzes the functions and features of Diigo and collaborative learning, and the author design a collaborative learning model under the Diigo environment. The paper finally discussed how the model can be applied in the daily instruction of the course `Fundamentals of Computer´.
