Abstract
This study provided an empirical proof showing that technology-based teaching modules were beneficial for both students and teachers while integrating concepts of Science-Technology-Society (STS). A STS-TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) framework was developed in this study Research carried out in June, 2009, at technological and vocation schools in central Taiwan on students who have take the course of “Leisure & Technology”. The results found the STS-TAM model was applicable. Students evaluating technology-based teaching are highly accepted and enable to enhance students´ learning willingness. Furthermore, this study can provide a valuable reference for various study settings, such as participants from different organizations, and/or different majors.
