In the last decade, the land use changes dramatically with the rapid improvement of the urbanization in China. This article makes a comparative research on the changes of land use between the cities of NanChong and Neijiang, two typical cities in Mid-Sichuan area through analyzing the land use types changes, structure changes, speed changes, degree changes and regional differences within 11 years with a conclusion that there exist many differences in the land use changes in the chosen terms. Therefore, it is advised a small-scale region as an object for researching the land use changes so as to conforming to the local conditions from the micro-level, making the theoretical support for the governmental decisions.
