This paper describes Agile development, a colloborative, incremental and iterative approach to software development and how it can produce high quality cost effective software. It describes the various agile methodologies used in today´s software industry, agile process and how they contribute to the Win-Win situation, where the customer´s expectations converge with the product developed.
