Abstract :
With the appearance of the information age, the education of information literacy, the necessary skills of information age, has aroused widespread concern around the world, and gradually added to the goals of education in all schools and evaluation systems. As a country starting early in information literacy education, the USA is at the forefront of the world with a wealth of experience and achievements in the information literacy education and research. A more systematic and deeper collation and research on information literacy education in American is of great significance on China´s development of information literacy education.
