Abstract
The manufacturing features of automobile gears, including geometric feature, structural feature and precision feature, were amply analyzed. According to the gear differences in design and manufacture, the gears were classified into cylindrical gears and bevel gears, models of which were respectively established with the O-O method. All of the models established in the article provide the information support for manufacturability analysis, and lay a good foundation for virtual manufacturing.
