As a basic component of the primary tank´s main driving system in our army, spiral bevel gears have complicated geometry structure. It makes the design and manufacture of gears very difficult. Spatial curved surface parameter and principle of conjugate curved surface are mainly studied on. The calculation formula of the first and the second class to the spatial meshing curved surface is calculated, and from it, paraboloid equation based on a binary quadric polynomial is used as a approximate curved surface of the spiral bevel gear. According to the meshing principle of spiral bevel gear, induced normal curvature of conjugate curved surface is derived. It is a fundamental work for further optimizing tooth surface of spatial gear in tank main driving system.
