  • Abstract
    In order to overcome the impact of electrical capacitance tomography system itself “soft field” characteristics and the inverse problem ill-posedness on the accuracy of reconstructed image, the image fusion technology based on wavelet transform was adopted to images obtained by two different reconstruction algorithms. The experimental results show the method not only can manifest respective information of source images intactly, but also can fuse the detail of the source images very well, get a fine fusion effect.
