Abstract :
The sound source detection and fault diagnostic according to the mechanical equipment of noise signal has an important significance. When the running situation becomes abnormal or a part of it does not work well, it usually generates a periodic sound signal. In this paper,the processing method of the sound signal is the wavelet transform. The application of wavelet technology in fault diagnostic, which the basic principle and the concrete realization ways are detailed analyzed in this paper. The applying instance shows that the combining of traditional signal processing methods with wavelet technology theory is more effective in the sound sources detection and fault diagnostic.
