Abstract :
Our country requests that medical polluted water should be discharged only after treatment, the detection in the effects of the polluted water disinfection and whether the second pollution will be produced is judged by detecting the content of the residential chlorine in the wasted water after treatment. The complicated components in the polluted water give difficulties in real time detection. This paper presents a real-time on-line monitoring system in detecting the residual chlorine concentration of medical wastewater, which is based on the ultraviolet spectrophotometer method to detect the residential chlorine in the wasted water after treatment with the aid of a kind of reagent. In this system, iodine-tungsten lamp, 420nm translucent film, lens and photodiode heads constitute the residual chlorine testing sensor´s head, according to system requirement to use quadratic interpolation algorithm to process the collected signals, this system uses a single chip as the main controller to control the detection, reset the mechanism to realize continuous detection on line, display information remotely, and to discharge the waste water up to the standards, etc.. The practice has reached the national requirements of on-line detecting residual chlorine in medical waste water standards.
