Abstract :
To solve the integral saturation problem of the CVT ratio adjusting process, the conventional CVT ratio control algorithm was introduced and analyzed. An improved control algorithm was presented and named anti-integral saturation PID algorithm. The mathematical models of the CVT transmission and the whole vehicle were build separately. The simulation model of the whole vehicle with CVT was designed. Finally, the simulation experiments of starting with 5%~40% throttle opening acceleration with 40% ~ 70% opening and deceleration with 70% ~ 10% opening were made. The results show that the delay of the control system are reduced, the CVT real ratio has good following capability to the object ratio, the improved control algorithm and the designed model are valid.
