  • Abstract
    The microprocessor-based protection device is often disturbed by transient interference signal, which caused by the switch operating system, and leading to act mistakenly. In this paper the transient interference signal is studied in-depth. Firstly, the formation mechanism of the interference signal is analyzed from both the qualitative and quantitative. Then characteristics of such signal are obtained by analyzing the ideal and the experimental electrical fast transient signal both in time and frequency domain, which are useful to comprehensively understand transient interference signal. And some valuable information may be provided to the related design.
