Abstract
The subject of this paper is a dual frequency microstrip antenna operating at 28.5-30.4 GHz and 58.8-60.9 GHz. Local multipoint distribution system (LMDS) and The WirelessHD (WiHD) special interest group utilizes the band above 26 GHz and 60 GHz, respectively. Antenna design was based on the ultra wideband tapered slot antenna. Dual frequency operation is realized on a multilayer substrate with multi-arm stubs and corrugation structure. Corrugation structure is used to confine the energy formed by the fields approximately from 30.4 GHz to 58.8 GHz.
