            Abstract : 
This paper presents a new spectral shaping method for Ultra Wide Band PPM signals. It consists in applying a sequence that randomises the pulse width in each information symbol waveform. This parameter is informationless. Therefore, it does not involve changes in the usual UWB PPM receiver strategies. However, this method causes difficulties for which we provide solutions. Numerical simulations show that the proposed scheme removes the spectral lines and peaks at higher frequencies even at the single information symbol level.
