            Abstract :
In this paper, the technology and performance of textile CPS-fed loop antennas are presented. Computer-aided embroidery has been chosen as a manufacturing technique. The conductive shape of the planar textile antenna is obtained with the use of conductive polyester (PES) yarn with conductive metal filaments incorporated. Bandwidth properties of such antennas as well as design technique is described. The simulations and measurements results of planar textile loop antennas have been compared with planar CPS-fed dipole antenna, designed to operate at the same frequency of 2 GHz.
