Abstract :
The EADS Defence & Security Division (DS) is the defence and security pillar within EADS, driving the Group´s development of integrated system solutions that meet its customers´ needs for Network Enhanced Capabilities (NEC). Being the EADS “Systems House”, Defence and Communications Systems (DCS) offers its customers comprehensive and tailored solutions, combining the know-how to design, develop and implement Large System Integration (LSI) to link the widest possible range of individual platforms and subsystems into a single effective network. System integration is also increasingly important for non-military customers in areas such as homeland security. Information and secured communication system solutions in these fields as well as systems enabling for effective border control and coastal surveillance constitute another major focus for DCS.
