Abstract :
An efficient computer code based on vector finite element method for full wave simulation of complex microwave devices is described. The code incorporates a two-stage mesh generator capable to build a tetrahedral mesh even for CAD device models containing minor geometrical errors. Lumped elements and ports compatible with fast frequency sweep technique are also implemented. Presented examples of a microstrip patch antenna and a mobile handset simulation demonstrate code capabilities.
