Abstract
A single-sideband (SSB) mixer is designed to have band selecting capability through a switching quad at the load of two mixer cells. This design provides an alternative other than conventional band selectable SSB mixer. The sideband suppression is better than 20 dBc and the total power consumption is 9 mW using TSMC 0.18 μm CMOS RF mixed-signal process.
