Abstract
The Fourier Transform Microwave Spectrometer (FTMW) is subject to simplification by means of the spectral analyser, instead of the super-heterodyne receiver. The paper is focused on the FTMW arrangement, the procedures of the resonator tuning and optimization of the excitation impulse length. In the paper, the virtues of the FTMW technique are demonstrated on the comparison of the emission and the absorption spectra.
