Abstract :
Modern mobile communication applications are using broadband stochastic signals, to satisfy todays demands for high data rates. During the PA design process, traditionally two-tone signals are used for design and model verification. This paper analyzes the similarities and differences between passive multi-harmonic load-pull under two-tone and W-CDMA stimulus. A novel passive multiharmonic load-pull system has been developed, using an Agilent DSO81204B ultra-high performance Infiniium oscilloscope as a broadband receiver. A GaAs HFET has been utilized for the analysis measurements. Relevant results are given and discussed.
