Abstract :
In this paper a waveguide-to-suspended microstrip transition with a low-pass filter is presented. The transition is very simple and low-loss. It is based on a probe extending through the waveguide. The transmission per single transition is below 0.45 dB at the centre frequency of 183 GHz of the operation band of 165-200 GHz. This transition is designed to be used in a Schottky diode mixer test platform.
