Abstract :
Propagation of TE-waves in a structure formed by periodically alternating ferrite and semiconductor layers is studied for the case where an external magnetic field is applied parallel to the layers. Dispersion characteristics for the infinite structure are calculated, and the features of the finite structure transmission are analyzed. The dependence of transmission spectra of electromagnetic waves that propagate through a magnetoactive structure on the external magnetic field and thicknesses of the layers is examined experimentally.
