Industry repercussion effect is not only one of the foundations to measure the position of one industry in national economy system, but also a main basis for government to locate a leading industry. Through introducing the sensitivity degree coefficient and influencing power coefficient, the repercussion effect of Chinese petroleum industry has been measured. Besides, the strategic position of it in national economy also has been researched with quantitative measures. The strategic attribute of petroleum industry has been proved based on the studies above.
