Abstract :
The design and implementation of data integration and sharing for crop germplasm resources investigation are vital to optimize and utilize efficiently crop germplasm resources. In this paper, we summarize the different traditional data integration technologies and technical features, analyze the architecture of enterprise service bus (ESB) based on middleware technology, and implement an ESB-based data integration and sharing approach of crop germplasm resources investigation. The architecture, data exchange model, data exchange standard specification and work data flow of the approach are detailed later. In the implementation, the consistency of the messages encapsulation is solved by using Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) and the data mappings of heterogeneous database are processed using XSL processor. At last, an efficient integrated development environment is recommended. The paper is designed to solve the problems of information islands in crop germplasm resources investigation data, provides the complete and accurate data for decision-making. The implementation plays an important component in crop germplasm resources investigation information system.
