Abstract
With the development of computer technology, the virtual instrument technology is becoming an important applied tool in the domain of measurement and control. This paper mainly introduces the application of the virtual instrument technology in the monitoring system of the transformer DC magnetic bias. Base on the LabVIEW development environment, the function modules such as the signal collection, harmonic analysis and the alarm of GIC beyond limit, etc are well designed and analyzed. Due to the functions of the monitoring system of the DC magnetic bias, it will be of a great significance to prevent the unexpected problems of the transformers. Further more, it will be much significant for the AC power grids to run with security and stability.
