Identification of multi-axle moving train loads on bridge is a hot issue in bridge engineering, It is very important for building, utilizing and maintaining of bridge in civil engineering. This paper presents a new method for multi-axle moving train loads identification by using immune complex method which is based on merits of the non-line search properties of complex technique and immune optimization theory. A series of numerical simulations have been carried out with simplifying bridge-train system as a group of axle loads move on a simply supported Euler-Bernoulli beam. Effects of several major parameters on the accuracy of the proposed method have been investigated. The results show that the immune complex method is accurate and feasible for multi-axle moving train loads identification.
