Abstract :
Blue-green algae, widely distributed almost all over the world, is one kind of the most ancient and primitive algae plants. The toxin and smell that blue-green algae releases out endanger human life and health directly, it is of great significance to study the mechanism of algae outbreak. The paper presents a method for the algae simulation based on wireless sensor networks and particle systems theory. The basic idea of this method is to adopt the technology of embedded system, design a set of temperature and transparency measurement system online. Then according to the established mathematical models, carry on the simulation of blue-green algae outburst in Taihu Lake by OpenGL. The method above which satisfies the general requirements of the real-time display under the ordinary personal computer has some practical values.
