A production line of the MTO (make to order) enterprises consists of several workstation, we often call it a discrete system. Every workstation is different from each other in work efficiency, so we must distribute the manufacturing ability of each workstation reasonably and avert a bottleneck process, that can make the course of production steadily and efficiently. Extendsim is a system simulation software, which can imitates the course of a production line, find out its bottleneck processes and optimize them, and that has a certain guiding significance for the MTO enterprises.
