Abstract :
Introducing intelligence of agent into workflow system, a workflow engine model based on multi-agent was designed in this paper, and the specific function features of each Agent in this system were explained in detail. We expanded some Agent´s communication performatives. Using Agent´s cooperation and autonomy, firstly, the engine will decomposite the dynamic and complex business into instance activities, then, select the best execution path to accomplish the processes. The practical applications show that: the model can overcome the workflow engine´s running bottlenecks effectively, enhance the flexibility for distributed and complex business.
