Abstract :
In the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) with randomly distributed sensor nodes, scarce and stationary sink nodes, the articulation nodes and critical regions which connect different regions are ubiquitous. The advanced invalidation of these nodes and regions will bring on “Sensor Island” and “energy hole” as traditional energy-saving strategy can hardly solve energy consumption imbalance problem, which causes a waste of energy and narrows the sensing scope and the functional lifetime of WSNs seriously. Based on the impact of lifetime, this paper presents flow factor, convergence factor and bridging factor, and then constructs an analysis model of articulation nodes on this basis. Experimental results show that the invalidation of nodes identified by the model will have a serious impact on the connectivity of the network.
