CEFC 2012 Publication Chairman´s foreword

The CEFC 2012 Conference Chair states that 617 digests were submitted with 496 accepted digests. From the presented digests, 407 full four-page papers were submitted. Each of these papers was reviewed by at least two reviewers (though often more) and by a CEFC 2012 editor. From these submitted papers, 216 papers were finally accepted for publication in this issue. Each manuscript was reviewed according to IEEE Transactions standards and obviously there were many good papers that did not make the final cut for the Transactions. We wholeheartedly thank all authors for their interest and contributions to the Conference and wish everyone well in their work and career.
