The demand for consumption on extension of scale and escalation of structure is the basic motivation of economic growth, but the Chinese Urban Households´ consumption is the most main strength to start the demand for consumption. On the basis of the official statistical data during 1990-2008 years in China, the author of the thesis makes use of the SPSS on analytical software, sieves data on analytical method of regression, makes regression models through various statistical tests as metrological change tracks on the behavior for consumption of Chinese Urban Households, researches reasonably on important drives of Chinese Urban Households from the demand for consumption to the behavior for consumption in the visual field of macroscopic economy, and puts forward countermeasures on guiding the reasonable behavior for consumption of Chinese Urban Households, these have the important theoretical and realistic meanings to promote consumption to pull the economic growth in China.
