  • Abstract
Measurement of rail abrasion is an important way to ensure the safety of transportation. The method of Non-contact measurement is adopted to rails with eddy current sensors based on the structural analysis of rails and the principle of least squares curve fitting. The system is composed of mechanical devices, sensors, data acquisition circuits and computer. It uses MCU as the main control unit to complete collection of data and use a date fitting method to process signals. Experimental results indicate that this method is scientific and practical.
