Abstract
Computer simulation is a key solution to high development cost and long manufacture cycle of Engine, so it is a crucial task to establish a simulation platform which is capable of integrating the present simulation software and developing new simulation applications. High Level Architecture (HLA) is a new generation of distributed simulation structure which is able to promote interoperability of simulation applications and reusability of simulation resources. In this paper, HLA has been introduced into the Engine simulation platform as its design and development foundation, and corresponding development scheme of cooperative simulation platform is framed. Four levels of the material tasks and functions have been developed according to the tasks and functions of the simulation platform. The feasibility of applying HLA in engine simulation platform is demonstrated and an advanced architecture and development environment is provided.
