Abstract
Three-dimensional visualization of geology is an important means for correct understanding of geological structure; it also can provide scientific basis to describe oil reservoirs, mines, and various geological phenomena. Taking seismic interface counter structural maps as the original data, this paper deals with the key technologies of three-dimensional geological modeling, and also realizes the technologies of automatically building fault, automatically getting the height of fault line, and automatically building fault plane, automatically closing stratigraphic boundary. C# and Open Inventor are used to realize three-dimensional visualization of stratum, and we have put all the above technologies into practical engineering projects successfully and achieved satisfactory results.
