Abstract

In the development of a variety of database systems, using stored procedures not only can maintain efficiency in the implementation of applications and simplify data layers, but also can enhance flexibility of system design. This paper mainly analyzes traditional method and disadvantage of stored procedure call method for Oracle in .NET. In order to reduce the preparation of a large number of repetition code in traditional stored procedure call method and implement the purpose of software reuse, this paper brings forward unified call method of stored procedure for Oracle in .NET, which is the only information needed is the stored procedure name and the values of its input parameters. This method can return not only DataSet, but also output parameters.
