Abstract
A nonlinear integral equation of Hammerstein type arising in the so-called modified phase problem is considered. The complex vanishing solutions to this equation are investigated. Solutions of the equation are represented by means of polynomials of finite degree. Consistency of previously defined system of transcendental equations for parameters of the polynomials is proved. Numerical results are analyzed for concrete examples.
