Abstract :
This paper presents a micro strip antenna for dual band wireless applications. This antenna satisfies for the frequency band (1.98 to 2.08 GHz) and (2.75 to 2.78 GHz) having return loss lower than -10 dB. At first band the return loss of the antenna is -37 dB and at second band return loss is -19 dB. The antenna is designed on a substrate with dielectric constant= 1.1. With a size 89mm×64mm×4mm the antenna operates for wireless applications for medical use. The effects of shape, length, size and location of feeding point, substrate and their thickness have been evaluated. 2D radiation pattern with elevation has been computed with VSWR <; 2, Return loss > -37db, gain > 8dB, efficiency vs. frequency > 96%. The simulation results of this antenna are analyzed by using Method of Moment (MoM) from IE3D software.
