Abstract
Scattering of plane monochromatic waves on Bragg layered structures with nonlinear lumped inhomogeneities is considered. Exact solutions for complex amplitudes of reflected and transmitted waves are found by method of transmission matrices. Complicated hysteresis phenomena are observed for case of Kerr nonlinearity of two nonlinear elements connected into Bragg structure. Analytical expressions describing relations of incident and transmitted amplitudes in “magnitude” hysteresis are obtained.
