Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a joint user scheduling and precoding scheme in multicell MIMO system. In the proposed scheme, each user feeds back its preferable precoding vector index as well as a scalar to a BS, then the coordinated BSs share all users´ feedback and work as a virtual enhanced BS. BSs determine a first user with maximum expected channel gain, and then use its preferable precoding vector to generate a unitary matrix. The columns of the newly generated matrix are used as precoding vectors for the following selected users. Numerical results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
