Abstract :
On the basis of analyzing segmentation error function decision feedback blind equalization algorithm (SF-DFE), Variable Momentum factor Segmentation error function Decision Feedback blind Equalization algorithm (VMSF-DFE) is proposed. The proposed VMSF-DFE algorithm uses segmentation error function to reduce mean square error, employs momentum term for improving the convergence rate, and utilizes variable momentum factor to control its tracking performance. Simulation test with underwater acoustic channel indicates that the proposed VMSF-DFE algorithm has not only faster convergence rate but also less mean square error.
